DOES STIRLING SUITES OFFER PARKING IN DOWNTOWN NELSON?

Yes. Limited on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Priority is given to one-bedroom suite and direct bookings
• Compact cars, midsize SUVs, and small trucks fit best
• Oversized vehicles can use street parking
• Metered parking is available directly outside the hotel
• Meters are free for overnight street parking, as well as all-day Sundays and holidays

Yes. All suites include either a full kitchen or kitchenette with cookware, dishes, utensils and appliances for preparing meals during your stay.

Yes. Our apartment-style suites are designed for both short and extended stays, with full kitchens, fiber internet, spacious layouts, and most suites offering in-suite laundry.

DOES THE HOTEL HAVE ELEVATOR ACCESS?

Due to the historic nature of the 1914 building, some suites are accessible by stairs only. Please contact us before booking if you have mobility concerns and we will help recommend the best suite option.

Check-in begins at 4 p.m. and checkout is at 11 a.m.

CAN I REQUEST AN EARLY CHECK-IN OR LATE CHECKOUT?

Early check-in requests are subject to availability and can often be accommodated with advance notice. Please contact us at least 24 hours prior to arrival to discuss available options for an earlier arrival time.

Checkout time is 11 a.m. If you require a late checkout until 12 p.m., please contact us at least one day in advance. Late checkout requests are subject to availability.

As a small boutique hotel, timely departures are essential to preparing suites for incoming guests. Unauthorized late checkouts after 12 p.m. may incur a $100 fee.

DO YOU HAVE A SPA, FITNESS CENTER OR POOL?

All guests have access to our sauna and cold plunge experience, available daily from 9 to 11am and 3 to 9p.m.

The Nelson & District Community Complex is located just half a block from Stirling Suites and includes a fitness center, swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, and recreational facilities. Pool and beach towels are provided in all suites.

DO YOU HAVE A RESTAURANT?

While Stirling Suites does not have an on-site restaurant, we are located within walking distance of many of Nelson’s best restaurants, cafés, breweries, and the Kootenay Co-op grocery store. All suites include a full kitchen or kitchenette for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals.

Food delivery and takeout are welcome; however, guests must meet delivery drivers at the main entrance. For security purposes, please do not share your access code.

DO YOU HAVE CONNECTING ROOMS?
We do not offer connecting rooms. However, we can often accommodate guests in adjacent suites or directly across the hall, depending on availability.

DO YOU ACCOMMODATE LARGE GROUPS?

DO YOU OFFER GROUP RATES OR ROOM BLOCKS?

IS THERE DAILY HOUSE KEEPING?

At Stirling Suites, we are proud to support environmentally responsible hospitality practices. Daily housekeeping is available upon request, and we encourage guests to participate in our linen reuse program to help conserve water and energy.

For stays of six nights or longer, a complimentary mid-stay housekeeping service is included. Additional amenities or supplies are always available upon request during your stay.
